Incredible India

Incredible is something unbelievable...too good to be true. India has an amazing variety in terms of cultures, traditions, clothes, people, religion, languages, vegetation, population, landforms, soil colours, cuisine, musical instruments, vocal music, dances. And yet there's unity in so much diversity. Three oceans meet at the Southern tip of India, on the North are the beautiful snowy mountains, and in between these are gorgeous hill stations, plateaus, plains, tropical forests, flowing rivers, pastures, farms, tiny towns and attractive cities.  

India also starts with the word "I and N" as in Incredible !!

Why is India Called Incredible India ?

India is an exception from other countries where we can see richness, propriety and happiness in the minds of its people. At the same time there is poverty, evil, corruption, etc. According to its geography it has everything on earth mountains,rivers,snow caped mountains, hot deserts,sandy beaches.The temperatures range from -degree Celsius to over 50 degree Celsius.The biodiversity is one of the largest in the world.Millions of flora and fauna are of Indian origin.Indus valley civilization is one of the greatest civilizations on earth.You can see a well developed city and a countryside that is underdeveloped, like some of the African countries in the same nation.different religions and caste live in India with harmony. its part of an ad campaign by the tourism ministry.

Why is India called India ?

The name "india" orignates from the ancient Indo-Aryan tribes that migrated to the Indus valley from the Caucus Mtns. India may have been called by the native. Dravidians livingon the Indus. Origins of the name are not clear. Because of the presence of Indus River. The name came from the Persians in ancient times describing people from the Indus Valley, it somehow got evolved into India (there is a big long article about it on Wikipedia). Native Americans however are NOT from the Indus region.

What is Mini India ?

Delhi is called Mini India because it has people of all language, caste, religion, etc as there are in India.
